1.1: Quiet
Time passes strangely here. Wherever here is. It flows. Day turns to night when it should- as far as T knows, anyways- but nothing really changes. She drinks when she's thirsty. She uses the bathroom and showers at regular intervals. But she always feels...mostly the same. She has the feeling that she should look older, if not feel it, but that's not really the case.
T finds herself wandering around outside a lot, but after a few hours her skin itches and burns.
Still, outside is a bit better than inside. It's so quiet there when her roommates are asleep.
She has a phone, but as always it has no reception outside the "intranet". She watches videos outside, and pretends that she's on her way to work, or to the gym, or the other places people in the videos go to.
She walks inside eventually, as she always does, ending the fantasy. The dome she calls home is sparsely furnished. An ancient yet pristine computer sits on a desk that seems neither new nor old. The chairs in the house are all the same- white, wooden, all have the same measurements.
There are some planter pots- at least, that's what her roommates call them- but neither of them have found any seeds to plant on this barren moon. The pots are just as empty as the surface is.
A pull up bar is the only thing they have for exercise here. T uses it regularly, finding nighttime workouts the best thing for her ever growing boredom.
She also often boots up the computer, the graphics always leaving something wanting for her. T's gotten very good at Skater, one of the few games it can run.
Sometimes she has the vague thought that she's used a more powerful machine before, played other games, but she can never get the memories into focus.
"Woah, new high score! Radical!" the Skater competition judge announces.
T sighs. She eyes the pull up bar, and decides it's time for another workout.
I'm not dead!
It's been a few years since my last sims 3 blog post. I've been playing all this time, but lost the drive for my old blogs. I'm not going to continue them, so sadly we will never see the culmination of Tula's evil plots.
I grew a bit bored with the standard random legacy gameplay, abandoning families after 5 generations or so. I also often found it difficult to find a town stable enough to continue playing in past that point anyways.
However, I saw the Nothing Is Free Challenge and decided to combine that with a random legacy. I've been hooked on that for almost a year and have completed it several times.
While I don't see myself playing the main Winterly save anymore, I still have a soft spot for Tulip and wanted to continue her story. This is set in the same "universe" as the original Winterly save, so yes, this is the same Tulip :)
